Nine years later, I started to collect alt the items I knew about or had heard of, in a private file with pictures of each item. The result was very satisfying, and as there are no really detailed books about the Bowie bootlegs on the market, I got the idea to get it in print. Since it wasn't my initial intention to publish it, it is very basic and some of the pictures are bad, but I've done my very best to improve the quality of these pictures! This file would not have been as complete as it is without contributions from a lot of people. I do not think that anyone can make a complete book on the subject, but this is probably as close as one can get! So, I would like to thank all of you who contributed, and especially three friends from Sweden! First of all Peter Lofstrand for the support, material and information. And the third one is Bo Roger Lind, Nutten Ebestadt Kurt-schumcher-str 58 together with Peter and myself, could sit and discuss different discs for hours. And a very warm thank you, to all the others! I could write a lot about the contents of the book, but I will be as brief as possible. I never really cared about the singles and the EP:s, but I think that this book would have been very insufficiant without them. And as I included the "7 ones, I just had to include the CD:s and the interview Nutten Ebestadt Kurt-schumcher-str 58 as well! There is one important thing to say about the latter ones. There is no copyright on the spoken word, so the interview discs are NOT bootlegs, but on the other hand, you can't just go to your local record store and order them that is why they are included! There is one important thing to say about the bootlegs. Bootlegs are illegal discs, which means that the artist doesn't gain any profit on them! But on the other hand, it is of my conviction, that everyone who collects these kinds of discs, already has all of the officially released material! Please note that you can't buy anything in this book from me, so there is no use in writing to me if you are looking for any of the items! Well, there are some shortnotes that need to be explained, so please look at the section below before you go on reading about the discs! Und selbst vielen Kerr-Kritiken merkte man an, wie wenig man sich auf einen ersten Eindruck verlassen kann. Wir müssen uns aber noch nach einem Jahr vorhalten lassen:? Damals habt Ihr geschrieben Die reine Nachricht, wer der erste und wer der dreizehnte war, gehört in die Tageszeitung. Dorthin gehört auch, wer eine Goldene bekam und wer gerade noch ans Ziel kam. Verlangt bitte diese reine Unterrichtung nicht vom MOTORRAD. Wenn wir Ergebnisse von irgend etwas bringen, dann ist das rein registrierender Natur.
